Busy Australian Season Ahead
With record levels of rain falling over much of eastern Australia, impoundments, dams and lake levels are all looking very good with many at capacity for the first time in many years
The Tassie Devil Lure is proving very effect on trout in the first weeks of the official trout season. Our Australian distributor, JM Gilles, is stocking up and supplying stores with bumper sales as anglers make the most of the high water levels. Trout are feeding well and putting on some top condition with an abundance of food in the margins and good fresh water in the lakes benefiting the entire food chain. Steve Williamson has been reporting excellent fishing in the Snowy Mountains lakes with some exceptionally large fish falling to the Tassie Devils so far.
Around the world the Tassie Devil is continuing to grow and gain popularity. In the USA our new distributor, Jed Welsh Fishing, has been placing good orders and working on building stock levels with both new and existing stores. The USA market, particularly in California, has been growing quickly and recently discovered how effective the Yellow Wing style Tassie Devil can be.
