Trout Season Opening Day AUG 7th 2010

The trout season opening day here in Tasmania is just around the corner. Starting to get pretty excited.
Can't wait for that first cast Saturday morning and hopefully that first fish soon after!!!

Had a couple of things done to my boat and put it on the water to test it out.
Couldn't help but put the rod in
The Derwent River is open year round below the Bridgewater Bridge.
Had a fish for about an hour and had a nice fish follow my lure in and landed a little 500gr sea-runner the very next cast. Fat and silver too
Not long to go now.........
